Choithram International

Choithram International is a premiere IB world school of the country. It is also one of the very few Apple Distinguished schools declared in India. The school offers all three IB programmes PYP, MYP and DP. Our school is a learning community offering a well- crafted curriculum imparting the core values of education, such as respect, responsibility, integrity, cooperation and achievement.

Since its inception the school has an excellent track record of success in both IB and IGCSE exams. Over the years Choithram International has sent out the toppers in CIE and IB examinations. Sreevidya Ayyar of 2014-16 batch attained the perfect score of 45 in IBDP examination. The legacy continues and we have a good number of students scoring above 40 in the IBDP exams in past years. Our students have also excelled in different international level examinations. To maintain this legacy of excellence our students are constantly boosted by the pedagogical leaders, counselors and faculty. Each student of Choithram International, obtaining the IB Diploma is provided career counselling and placement assistance by the school. In that endeavour we have seen our students being placed in the top most universities of the world. Performance of our students have made us proud and we strive round the clock to actualize their dreams to soar high.   

Our vision of education extends beyond classroom. For that students are encouraged to involve themselves in the extensive co-curricular program. Learning here takes place in many shapes and forms. They are given exposure to various platforms like sporting field, stage performance, leadership activities, vocational education, debating, community service, MUNs and many others. The school also inculcates leadership qualities among students through its student council. The elected members of the student council contribute in decision making regarding important events and affairs in the school. 

Our mission is to provide a wholesome education to nurture our learners for excellence in every sphere of life. Since the early years of school they are sensitized to think for the greater cause of humanity and the needs of others. Imbibing IB learner profiles is the motto of the school to attain this mission. Our students participate in many community service projects and take initiative to contribute in social welfare activities.

Choithram International is always a step ahead than other schools of similar stature. It is one of the pioneers in India to introduce E-books across all grades. Our students use i-pads and laptops in their classes. Very soon, we are going to accomplish paper less documentation to fulfill the motto- save paper save environment. 

We expect high standard of achievement in every effort we put forth. The school is affiliated to American Field Service (AFS) to provide a platform to the students to acquire knowledge in inter cultural learning. Students can avail international students exchange programmes while participating in AFS activities. Green School Project is another endeavour wherein students are directly involved to work for a sustainable environment in and around the school campus. The school also aims to facilitate professional development of the staff and faculty. CPDQ program under the aegis of Cambridge offers various professional development courses for the teachers in the school.
